The core is not only thicker (3.5\" compared to OEM at 3\") but it offers a 65.5% increase in frontal area compared to stock intercooler.  Each intercooler is pressure tested to withstand a minimum of 3.5 bar and designed to increase power, improve efficiency, and reduce heat soak.
