At higher speeds we found that the rear-facing inlet draws in hot, engine-bay air into the airbox, increasing airbox inlet temps. The OEM inlet duct has further issues for performance-minded owners, such as a blocked off inlet passage directly in front of the airbox along with abrupt edges leading into the air inlet channel. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBy replacing the factory inlet duct with the ECS Dual Inlet Duct, considerably more airflow is available to the air filter.
