If you have experienced a cam follower failure and need to replace your follower and high pressure fuel pump as preventative maintenance this is the kit for you. You usually can't tell unless you have had the work done yourself if your cam follower has been serviced, check up on it to avoid having to perform major costly service to your FSI. This set of parts will also work perfectly for those who have had fuel pump damage result from a worn cam follower. This kit assembled by ECS includes all the needed parts for a fast swap from damaged components to new ones and addresses common parts that should be replaced or need adapted to the revised pump on early models with banjo fittings.
