BFI Transmission Boss Spacer - (PQ35 & MQB) MK5-MK8

We are excited to announce the release of our transmission boss spacer! This spacer is designed as an add-on for our Motor Mount Spacer Kit for the PQ35 & MQB platforms.

By adding this spacer to your BFI transmission mount spacer, you can revert your transmission back to factory height, essentially having yourself a full billet transmission boss/console.

Just like our mounts and spacer kits, this spacer is fully clear anodized for corrosion resistance and long lasting durability.

Billet Construction

Unlike your factory transmission boss (console) which is cast, our transmission boss spacer plate is made from 6061-T6. Together with our transmission console, this spacer is the final piece necessary to form a full billet complete factory replacement transmission boss (console).

Our billet transmission boss is many times stronger than their factory counterpart. Regardless of the situation, you can drive with the knowledge that these parts are strong enough to take whatever you throw at them.

NOTES:

• Does not come with transmission boss, photos are for representational purposes only.
• Does not come with replacement hardware, you can reuse the factory hardware or purchase replacement hardware HERE
• Upgraded motor mounts are highly recommended when uses these spacers.
• In most applications the hood will close without modification but in some instances hood liner will need to be trimmed.
• Vehicles that are significantly lower than stock may experience the axles hitting the frame when using these spacers. Frame notch may be required.
• While these spacers will work with all factory and aftermarket engine and transmission mounts, we cannot guarantee the correct length of hardware for all non-BFI aftermarket mounts.
