If you’re looking to improve the handling of your VW MK6 Golf R, this is the best place to start! These cars have more body roll than desired and the stock sway bar doesn't quite do enough for most owners to be satisfied.

Larger diameter sway bars have a higher torsional spring rate which helps resist excessive body roll. By eliminating the excessive body roll and changing the stiffness of the sway bars front to rear, we can improve handling characteristics by reducing understeer and keep the tire in full contact with the ground.   • 25 mm OD, solid, sprung steel tubing

  • +3mm larger diameter than the stock MK6 Golf R (22mm)

  • Wrinkle black powder coated for great looks and corrosion resistance

  • 90A durometer polyurethane bushings - reduces flex at mount as compared to OEM rubber

  • Billet aluminum sway bar mounting brackets

• REAR

  • 25.3mm OD, solid, sprung steel tubing

  • +4.3mm larger diameter than the stock rear sway bar (21mm)

  • Wrinkle black powder coated for great looks and corrosion resistance

  • 90A durometer polyurethane greaseable bushings - reduces flex at mount as compared to OEM rubber

  • Bushings feature serviceable grease fittings and internal grease channels to consistently provide lubricity for squeak-free operation

  • Sway bar mounting brackets are precision CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum to bolt into the OEM location. They are Type II black anodized for corrosion protection and include zinc flake coated Class 12.9 alloy steel cap screws for premium performance.
