ECS Tuning MK8 GTI / Golf R Carbon Fiber Core Support Braces - Set

The ECS Carbon Fiber Core Support Braces replace the weak stamped steel lock carrier support braces, found over top the headlights, for increased durability and underhood appeal. 

Made from ultra-lightweight, hand laid carbon fiber material, our braces will outperform and outshine the OEM set. Simple to install, these make for a great stand-alone addition or complementary to other underhood carbon fiber products for outstanding beauty!

PART DESIGN

• Made from lightweight, hand laid carbon fiber material with pre-impregnated carbon fiber cloth, epoxy resin and then finished in a durable gloss clear coat for UV and heat protection for continuous operating temperatures of up to 300° F.

• Features OEM fitment and reuses OEM hardware

• Retains all mounting features for the hood prop and hood latch cable

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

• Our ECS Carbon Fiber Core Support Braces were designed, engineered, tested and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio facility. We ensured the highest level of precision and quality is delivered throughout rigorous long term product testing and leading edge product development methods.

INSTALLATION AND SUPPORT

• Simply unclip your hood latch cable, the bolts on either brace and replace with ECS Carbon Fiber Core Support Braces. All OEM mounting features are retained.
