Bolt on the ability to make big power while retaining your current intake, downpipe, and intercooler with this Golf R / Continental turbo kit! This kit includes a brand new Continental turbocharger from the MK8 Golf R along with all necessary hardware, gaskets, seals and piping to properly install and give your GTI the legendary power of the Golf R!

The IS38 turbo from the MK7 R is a very popular upgrade amongst MK7 GTI owners due to being a direct fit to gain tremendous power. This is why the team at ECS meticulously assembled this kit for MK8 GTI owners to do the same! The research and development team at ECS installed this exact kit on our shop MK8 GTI to ensure we have included every piece necessary to complete the turbo swap!

ECU tuning is required to utilize this upgrade. We recommend the software available from APR (ES#4668627) or 034 Motorsport (ES#4630162).

It is highly recommended to also upgrade your intake, intercooler to achieve the most possible power and reliability. It will also be a possibility to upgrade your clutch depending on the health of your stock unit and your driving habits. DSG owners are also recommended to perform a DSG TCU performance software upgrade.
