The newer Volkswagen 2.0T engine is notorious for its failure-prone plastic oil pan and unpopular drain plug design. Because of this, many owners upgrade to a steel oil pan for superior durability and longevity. This simple swap is especially important for drivers in winter climates, offering vital protection against road hazards like stray chunks of ice.

  • Stamped Steel Oil Pan With Drain Plug
  • Fel-Pro Oil Pan Gasket
  • Oil Pan Securing Hardware
  • Oil Level Sensor Securing Hardware

The Steel Oil Pan Kit provides complete protection. For the ultimate peace of mind, pair it with the ECS Magnetic Drain Plug (ES2784400). It actively captures harmful particles, helping to prevent engine wear and prolonging the life of your investment.*Note: For non-MQB chassis, this is just an oil pan replacement kit.
