CAP O2 Sensor Spacers
CAP offers O2 spacers (Oxygen Sensor Spacers) to move the downstream oxygen sensor slightly out of the main exhaust stream.
Uses:

Reduce risk of check engine light
- When your remove the catalytic converter (catless downpipe), or install a high-flow catalytic converter, the downstream o2 sensor may detect that and throw a code. these spacers help to minimize the risk of getting CEL
How it Works:
- Its in the name: Spacer
- By putting slightly more distance between the exhaust gas and the sensor, O2 spacers reduce the amount of exhaust gas reaching the sensor. This can make the reading appear more stable and reduce the chance of codes.

Built-in mini catalytic element
- CAP O2 spacers come with real precious metal catalytic converter element which helps to filter the exhaust gas slightly before it reaches the sensor. This also gives the sensor the illusion of a real catalytic converter, further reducing the chance of a CEL.
These are Straight or 180 degree O2 Spacers. If your exhaust layout is tight or at an awkward angle, see our 90° version.
One order of an O2 spacer will come with a set of 2 (pair).
Oxygen sensors can occasionally trigger a CEL on stock vehicles due to the new advances of technology and would require an O2 spacer to bring the vehicle back to equilibrium and allow the ECU to read exhaust gases within the proper threshold.
Note: There is no guarantee these will work but they do reduce the chances of getting codes or a CEL. We have had great feedback on their effectiveness.
