The thin stock, OEM steel x-brace leaves much to be desired for car enthusiasts, not providing the best aid in steering feel and handling for the B8/B8.5 chassis vehicles.
Unlike other X-Braces on the market that are not truly one piece, CAP has specifically designed the X-Brace with the best structural integrity, with different designs for the prefacelift B8 platforms and the facelift B8.5 platforms.
Other replacement options are not designed for optimal performance due to their design and more importantly are not thick enough to truly give your vehicle the most out of an X-Brace upgrade. CAP's X-Brace, made of T6-6061 billet aluminum, is 0.75" thick, over 50% thicker than other options on the market, truly providing a significant difference in the steering feel and improved handling departments.
