THE VALVED SWITCHPATH™:

Smooth bends, tight packaging, and dual personalities. The AWE SwitchPath™ Exhaust for the Golf R is constructed from 3” and 2.5” U.S.-sourced T304L stainless steel and retains full factory valve integration. It responds to the ECU’s commands via Drive Select, throttle input, and engine speed—quiet when you need it, aggressive when you want it.

In Dynamic mode, expect crackles, tone, and signature AWE thrills on demand.

THE TRACK EDITION EXHAUST:

For those who want full-time volume, the Track Edition delivers. It removes the passenger-side valve and driver-side muffler, keeping things in a constant “valve open” state for unfiltered sound.

Note: This version is very aggressive and not returnable based on sound preference.

Easily convertible to SwitchPath™ using an AWE Conversion Kit.

THE TIPS:

Comes standard with 102mm slash-cut, double-walled tips in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black. All tips feature the AWE logo and are individually adjustable for personalized bumper depth. Engineered to maintain a mirror finish even under hard use.

NEVER STUCK WITH AWE CONVERSION KITS:

Want to switch things up? AWE offers Conversion Kits so you can move from Track to SwitchPath™ or vice versa without replacing the entire system.

•Track-to-SwitchPath™ Kit: Adds a driver-side muffler and a valved passenger-side section. Retains full factory valve behavior.

•SwitchPath™-to-Track Kit: Replaces the rear muffler and valve section with straight-through Track Edition sections for max volume.

Pro tip: For full control over valve operation, add the SwitchPath™ Remote (sold separately).

THE OPTIONAL SWITCHPATH™ REMOTE:

Push-button control for your exhaust valves—anytime, anywhere. The AWE SwitchPath™ Remote overrides factory programming and works with both the AWE SwitchPath™ Exhaust and the factory system.

Includes two remotes, control box, wiring harness, and mounting hardware. Compact enough for your keychain or console.

Press “On” to open the valves, “Off” to close. You’re in control.

THE AWE VALVE SIMULATORS:

When removing factory valves (like in the Track Edition), soft codes may be stored in the ECU. AWE’s Valve Simulators plug into the OEM harness to eliminate these codes entirely. Note soft codes are harmless and will not cause a CEL or hinder vehicle performance.

Sold as a pair, plug-and-play.
