ECS Performance Adjustable Coilover System - R55/R56/R57/R58/R59 Gen 2 MINI

Our MINI Coilover Line is designed with the daily driver in mind! Our focus was to improve on the performance and aesthetics of your vehicle without forgetting comfort. With 32 levels of available damping and height adjustments tailored to each car, our coilovers are right in that sweet spot of firm and compliant while giving you an aggressive look and vastly improved handling.

The ECS Tuning Performance Coilover System provides a sport-tuned, height, damping, and body adjustable suspension with substantial performance benefits using high-quality materials and coatings to replace your worn suspension, all while giving your vehicle that perfect ride height!

When installing please make sure the front bar is pretty much level and the adjustable end link is set where it will not rub on the front axles. They will come close but should not rub.

Preload can be done and is used by hand tightening slightly on the shock sprockets when suspension is off the ground.

Dampening: Left/counterclockwise = softer Right /Clockwise = harder

Spring Rates: Front is 6kg/mm, Rear is 6kg/mm

PERFORMANCE FEATURES:

• Integrated camber plates for +/-1.5 degrees of adjustment to dial in your fitment and alignment
• Lowering Adjustment of: 1.5" - 4"
• Heat treated, progressive rate coil springs.
• Adjustable damping, monotube shocks/struts paired with optimized progressive rate coil springs gives your vehicle road-sticking grip with reduced body roll for exceptional confidence in your vehicle's handling. With your vehicle's new, lower ride height the center of gravity is now moved lower, further improving handling performance
• Adjustable front bodies allow you to set the ride height while maintaining correct spring pre-load
• Adjustable front and rear bodies allow the shock to operate in the correct valving range, regardless of ride height

PRODUCT DESIGN:

• Strut and shock bodies finished with a durable gloss black powder coat for good looks and great longevity
• Threaded portions are are zinc-coated for optimum corrosion protection against rain and salt (finish will vary between clear or black zinc coatings depending on availability)
• Coil springs are powder-coated Reflex Silver Metallic finish for durability
• Red anodized, billet aluminum spring seats with locking collars allow for quick, on the car, adjustability with the included spanner wrenches
• Anodized adjustable sway bar end links with heavy duty bushings
• Self-locking, zinc-coated flanged nuts used for shock & strut shaft pins
• Zinc coated strut mount securing nuts included
• Rear shock adjuster housings are black E-coated for durability
• Zinc-coated lower spring perches
• Integrated bump stops and dust boots

**You will need to reuse or get new rear upper shock mount foam bushings or upgrade to ploy bushings. Search OEM Part 33526754123 for just the foam or ploy inserts only. You will reuse the metal mount bracket for each side. We provide the metal tube washer with upper and lower washers.**
