Specifically designed for seamless installation, this spoiler extension installs in minutes! Heavy-duty 3M double-sided adhesive tape is pre-applied to the spoiler's underside, ensuring proper application to the factory hatch spoiler. To install the spoiler, peel the backing off the double-sided tape and firmly press the extension onto your factory spoiler. No drilling, cutting, or permanent modification is required for installation!

Our spoiler extension is crafted from high-quality, hand-laid, 2x2 twill-weave carbon fiber, providing a world-class appearance and maximum durability. Additionally, the spoiler is finished with a durable high-gloss clear coat, ensuring durability and protection from harmful UV rays.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

• Our ECS Carbon Fiber Hatch Spoiler Extension for Volkswagen MK8 Golf R was designed, engineered, tested, and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio facility. We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer, and rigorous long-term product testing.

INSTALLATION AND SUPPORT

• After you have everything lined up, simply remove the liner on the already attached high-strength dual-sided tape and press the spoiler firmly onto the trunk lid. See our Installation Guide for general surface prep and installation.

• 2 sterile antiseptic alcohol wipes (ES#2918127) are suggested for proper installation.
