ECS Tuning DL501 DSG Billet Aluminum Oil Pipes

Over time, the factory-installed plastic oil pipes in Audi's DL501 (05B) dual-clutch transmission are prone to failure. After years of consistent exposure to piping hot, chemical-rich gear oil, the weak plastic pipes become brittle, resulting in cracks, fractures, and internal leaks. Moreover, aging oil pipes are particularly susceptible to breakage when subjected to physical stress during Mechatronics unit removal, service, or replacement.

Each of the seven oil pipes uses a rubber o-ring to seal the Mechatronics unit to the transmission body. If compromised, these seals may leak internally, resulting in a transmission malfunction.

To solve these issues and improve upon the factory design, our team of engineers developed an "end-all" solution: a complete set of DL501 oil pipes, machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for maximum durability! These billet aluminum pipes were designed to match the exact tolerances of their OEM counterparts, ensuring proper functionality and stress-free installation. Additionally, our upgraded oil pipes feature a sleek gloss red anodized finish, ensuring they look just as good as they perform.

Unlike the factory plastic pipes, our billet aluminum set features dual 75A Viton Fluoroelastomer o-rings on each end. This upgrade provides maximum sealing power, easy installation, and effortless serviceability.
