Due to low-quality steel construction, rusted transmission fluid pans are commonplace on any DQ250-equipped Volkswagen. After years of exposure to dirt, water, and road salt, the thin metal that keeps the DSG fluid inside the transmission will begin to leak due to porosity caused by corrosion. Additionally, due to its flimsy stamped steel construction, the factory pan is likely to bend upon removal, requiring complete replacement as a result. All products sold by Eurosport Performance are warrantied against manufacturing defects according to the manufacturer's warranty policy*. Warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, damages caused from improper manipulation, normal wear and tear, improper installation, or damages resulting from racing. Warranties only apply to the original owner. If a product is found defective, the customer will receive, at the discretion of Eurosport Performance, a replacement part at no extra cost.
