DESCRIPTION

ECS Tuning introduces magnetic drain plugs for your BMW. Featuring a permanently mounted magnet that traps ferrous metal suspended in you oil. These magnetic drain plugs trap tiny particles are unable to be caught by your oil filter, leaving you with a cleaner engine, and over time saving your bearings and oil pump from unneeded wear.

*Includes 10 "tube style" copper washers, one extra flat washer that comes with a magnetic drain plug will not be needed, please use the tube style copper washers. One each needed per oil change.

Manufactured of 7075-T6 aluminum, the ECS Tuning magnetic drain plug is 80% stronger than the weaker (and much more common) 6061 aluminum

ECS magnetic drain plugs also capture many metal particles from wearing or recently rebuilt engines.

  • The constant flaking effect of normal wear of reciprocating parts.
  • Material missed after boring or machining.
  • Small component breakdown caused by high RPM break-in.

Warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, damages caused from improper manipulation, normal wear and tear, improper installation, or damages resulting from racing. Warranties only apply to the original owner. If a product is found defective, the customer will receive, at the discretion of Eurosport Performance, a replacement part at no extra cost.
