ECS Tuning N14 Heat Shield Kit

Protect your Mini’s ignition system from damaging engine heat with the ECS Tuning Ignition Coil Heat Shield, specifically engineered for N14-powered Mini Coopers. Designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade, it installs easily using factory mounting points, no cutting or modification required.

Crafted from 18-gauge 304 stainless steel, this heat shield delivers superior thermal protection thanks to 304SS’s low thermal conductivity and excellent heat resistance. It effectively deflects and dissipates radiant heat away from your ignition coils and wiring, helping to extend component life and maintain reliable performance.

The shield offers maximum coverage and works seamlessly with both plastic and metal valve covers, utilizing the factory valve cover mounting stud and OEM grommet for a secure, vibration-resistant fit. Its durable brushed finish complements your engine bay while standing up to the harshest heat cycles.

Design:

• 18-gauge 304 Stainless Steel
• Specifically designed for the N14 engine for maximum coverage and heat shielding
• Works with both plastic and metal valve covers
• Utilizes the factory mounting stud found on the valve cover and the factory grommet found on the factory engine cover
• The factory valve cover does not have a front full plastic cover, just a little snap in cover near the main harness in the front. This small plastic part stays in place when the metal is installed over it.
• In order to change oil or add oil plate is simply removed with two round head Allen screws at the bottom.
