Turner IAT Relocation Harness With Mounting Hardware

If you've ever felt your car start losing power while enjoying a cruise on a warm day then this is likely the culprit. BMW designed the air intake system in a way that put this sensor close to the engine getting a warmer air temperature reading caused by engine heat soak. When the ECU reads these warm temperatures it makes adjustments to the fuel delivery causing a loss in performance since its well known cooler air increases performance. The Turner Motorsport relocation harness offers a clean OE appearance to the modification allowing the IAT sensor to be moved closer to the filter itself.

When this product was tested on a dyno using an E39 540i the results came out exactly as we expected. This didn't offer an increase in power but it did reduce the power lost when the car was in the heat soak range, and we gained back 7 RWTQ from the stock setting.
