Turner's process begins with ACL bearing shells. Designed with high performance in mind, ACL's Race Series bearings feature "Duraglide" tri-metal construction and an increased-thickness, high-strength overlay plate for improved oiling during high-RPM operation. ACL bearings are manufactured to exact OEM tolerances using micron tolerance machining for maximum precision and perfect fitment. Unlike many OEM and performance bearing shells, no flash plating is applied to ACL's Race Series rod and main bearings, further improving bearing retention and maximizing heat transfer. In short, our base is the ultimate performance bearing, engineered for friction protection, reduced heat transfer, and improved oiling during all facets of engine operation.

WPC reduces friction and adds strength, vastly improving the durability of vital internal engine components. Ultra-fine particles are fired at the surface at very high speeds—like shot-peening—but much, much smaller. The treated parts come out smoother and stronger due to thermal discharge. The two largest enemies of any high-performance engine are heat and friction, and WPC has found a way to reduce both.
