DESCRIPTION

ECS Tuning is proud to announce the arrival of our new rear shock tower reinforcement plates. Reinforcement plates taken from the Z3 have been a popular option for years - serving the important purpose of preventing rear shock towers and mounts from failure on lowered or aggressively-driven vehicles, or for vehicles that regularly encounter rough roads. The use of original equipment reinforcement plates on an E46 convertible requires guesswork and modification by cutting, resulting in with lackluster reinforcement. This scenario is undesirable, so decided to offer a remedy for convertible models that is truly a clean, simple, bolt-on installation.
We designed our reinforcement plates to be a full 1mm thicker than BMW's original equipment Z3 plates, further reinforcing the shock mounts and towers, while still permitting use of original equipment or performance shock mounts. We finished the thicker plate with a more appealing matte black zinc finish to resist pitting and rusting. These plates are heavier for good reason.
These are precision engineered and are cheap insurance against expensive and common failures. Don't settle for "good enough" when it comes to your BMW!

All products sold by Eurosport Performance are warrantied against manufacturing defects according to the manufacturer's warranty policy*. Warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, damages caused from improper manipulation, normal wear and tear, improper installation, or damages resulting from racing. Warranties only apply to the original owner. If a product is found defective, the customer will receive, at the discretion of Eurosport Performance, a replacement part at no extra cost.
