DESCRIPTION

The ECS Tuning billet aluminum oil filter housing is an attractive, durable upgrade machined from a solid block of T6-6061 aluminum to exact OEM specifications. The filter housing accepts a factory engine oil filter from the early MK3 VR6's with a metal filter end cap to maintain simplicity, OEM fitment and heavy duty burst resistance.

You can forget about cracked housings and not worry about stripping out threads since aluminum is much more durable than plastic. It is also equipped with a large drain plug to assist in a cleaner, faster oil change service. The drain plug also uses the same crush washer as the engine oil pan drain plug for simplicity.

The aluminum filter housing will also dissipate heat faster than your stock plastic housing, aiding in the prevention of oil breakdown.

This part is hand polished and then clear anodized for long lasting, maintenance-free, great looks!

Please use the following OEM oil filter with the metal end cap for this housing. VW Part Number 021115562 --- DO NOT USE 021115562A! ---

Warranties only apply to the original owner. If a product is found defective, the customer will receive, at the discretion of Eurosport Performance, a replacement part at no extra cost.
