Timing belt service is imperative to ensure the longevity of your engine, keeping your engine in time and running properly. If the timing belt snaps it can cause major cylinder head and piston damage. Timing belt service is commonly performed at 75,000 miles or 7 years, whichever occurs first. To save you from future unnecessary teardowns, ECS Tuning has included the water pump, thermostat, and accessory drive belts. €‹ Though not required according to VW/Audi, you might as well do it all while it's apart, right? All products sold by Eurosport Performance are warrantied against manufacturing defects according to the manufacturer's warranty policy*. Warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, damages caused from improper manipulation, normal wear and tear, improper installation, or damages resulting from racing. Warranties only apply to the original owner. If a product is found defective, the customer will receive, at the discretion of Eurosport Performance, a replacement part at no extra cost.
