The Engineering team at ECS Tuning has spent countless hours in the development of the exclusive Audi RS5 Kohlefaser Luft-Technik Intake System to bring you the induction system that should have been installed from the factory. This intake was precision engineered using state of the art laser scanning and 3D CAD technology to ensure a perfect fit and specifically designed to flow with the factory aesthetics of the engine bay. This intake is crafted of high quality pre-impregnated hand laid carbon fiber with a fiberglass interior layer to achieve world class appearance and durability while resisting the performance robbing effects of heat soak. Additionally, each side is backed with an aluminum shield and custom cut Reflect-A-Gold adhesive that wraps both lower carbon boxes for superior heat protection. We have subjected this intake to rigorous real world testing, and verified the performance gains on our in-house chassis dyno resulting in an increase of 13WHP and 5WTQ on the APR Stage 1 Tune. The end result of all of this effort is an intake system that combines unrivaled beauty, fitment, quality and performance in one stunning package that will make a statement in your engine bay. The ECS Tuning Kohlefaser Luft-Technik Intake System features: ECS Tuning took additional time in the design process to provide an intake system that not only performs, but also compliments the factory components of the RS5 engine bay. The dual carbon fiber lids mimic the strong lines of the factory engine cover while the curvature of the outer edges take shape with the borders of the engine compartment, providing one of the most aesthetically pleasing additions on the market. We also took the time to create our exclusive Quad-Lock release tool for removing the intake tube vent hoses so that the most daunting task of installation is made simple. All products sold by Eurosport Performance are warrantied against manufacturing defects according to the manufacturer's warranty policy*. Warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, damages caused from improper manipulation, normal wear and tear, improper installation, or damages resulting from racing. Warranties only apply to the original owner. If a product is found defective, the customer will receive, at the discretion of Eurosport Performance, a replacement part at no extra cost.
