ECS Tuning Carbon Fiber Engine Cover Kit

The ECS FSI Carbon Fiber Engine Cover creates a visual underhood transformation like no other! Made from authentic, hand laid carbon fiber material, our engine cover will create a visual underhood transformation like no other! Designed the cover the unfortunate-looking wiring, fuel and coolant hoses, HPFP, timing chain housing and the impossible-to-keep-clean plastic intake manifold, our engine cover will have you popping your hood every time you park!

Our in-house R&D Team spent a considerable amount of time designing every feature to perfectly execute the strict styling requirements associated atop the 2.0T FSI engine. After multiple design iterations, ensuring that every edge and every line was made to perfectly compliment the complex and unique features that this engine bears, we were finally satisfied with the shear beauty and styling transformation that our Carbon Fiber Engine Cover provides.

A subtle, black script ECS Tuning logo is tastefully placed under the clear coat for timeless appeal and decor. Our development team chose to compliment the beauty of the FSI engine, rather than hide the entire engine. The valve cover and ignition coils remain open to compliment the attractive features of this engine.

Engine oil cap functionality is retained so you can easily top-off your engine oil between services without engine cover removal. Our engine cover does clear with the oil cap standoff in place, however, for aesthetic improvement we "broke the neck" off. See our Installation PDF for this process.

Further design considerations were strategically made such as clearance for "most" aftermarket intake systems, ECS catch can hoses, OEM PCV valve and upper PCV hose along with OEM and ECS oil dipstick functionality. Styling amongst the engine itself were added into our design including the intake manifold plenum shape where our engine cover perfectly wraps and covers the unpleasing OE plastic intake manifold. Individual intake runner profiles compliment the OE design and further add engine bay styling; being careful not to take any mechanical styling away from the engine our engineers worked to keep the engine looking like an engine. Slots between the intake runner covers keep cleaning and maintenance down as no dirt can be trapped between the carbon fiber runners.

Installing the ECS Engine Cover is simple! The included ball studs thread quickly into place, from there the pre-installed engine cover mounting grommets snap right over the ball studs. The ECS Engine Cover can then be installed or removed just like the factory cover without any further tools needed. See our in-depth install PDF for more information under the Installation Tab.
