ECS Tuning Exact-Fit Stainless Steel Brake Lines - Rear

ECS Exact-Fit stainless reinforced brake lines provide more confident and dependable stopping by maintaining consistent brake pressure, long lasting corrosion resistance, and increased protection from failure.  Even when new, factory style fabric mesh lined rubber hoses are prone to expansion under the pressure of hard braking, whether it be highway panic stops or threshold braking at the track. This expansion is even more prominent in aged and weathered rubber hoses. ECS Tuning's Exact-Fit lines are engineered and assembled with braided stainless steel mesh and offer superior expansion resistance and reinforcement. The resistance to expansion creates a firmer pedal, and a more direct pedal feel. The signature red polymer coating provides additional protection from the elements and abrasion common with the constant movement of suspension and braking systems. ECS Exact-Fit brake lines are engineered in house to comply with DOT (U.S. Department of Transportation) FMVSS 106 standards. All lines are made on dedicated, DOT-compliant brake equipment and each is tested to 3,000 psi before being shipped. Included in this kit are a pair of custom made ECS Exact-Fit brake lines for the rear of your vehicle, new banjo bolts with copper crush washers and replacement brake line bracket clips. * Banjo Bolt Torque Specification - 35Nm (26 Ft-lbs) Installation Note: Always hold firm pressure on the brake pedal for 10-15 seconds, then closely check each fitting for leaks. If necessary, tighten them an additional 4-7 Nm (3-5 Ft-lbs) and recheck for leaks.
