Upgrade your relationship with your car with this beautifully machined 6061-T6 aluminum fuel cap cover and you'll be popping more than just your hood at the next car show! Show off your gas door on your VW MK5 or MK6 or replace a broken tether with our included stainless wire rope and clasp.
PART DESIGN
Made from a solid block of 6061-T6 aluminum then clear anodized in your choice of finish
Designed to slip over top of your existing fuel cap, once the OE tether has been remove and is retained with QTY 2 stainless steel flat point set screws
Included stainless wire rope and spring steel clasp help to retain the fuel cap should it ever slip. This component is optional, you can remove the wire rope if you prefer by simply tugging the clasp "firmly" from the fuel cap cover.
Precision designed finger grooves allow for comfortable grip while the raised fillet adds security from slippage
Cutouts along the bottom side of the cover allow for the fuel cap to be placed atop the fuel door, as intended by the factory, without any metal to body contact
CNC-Engraved "Fuel Pump" design machined into the top of the cover, post-anodized for stunning appeal!

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Our ECS Billet Fuel Cap Cover was designed, engineered, tested and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio facility. We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modelling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer, and rigorous long term product testing.
INSTALLATION AND SUPPORT
Installation is very simple and straightforward. However, we supplied a brief Installation PDF to assist you with how to remove your OEM tether and how to install our cover. Please note that physical cutting of your factory tether is recommended to avoid damage to related factory components. See our Installation PDF under the INSTALLATION Tab for more information.
Eurosport Performance does not have live inventory. Although we aim shipping out not stocked products within 5 business days, supply constraints, import proceedures and product availability can cause additionnal delays. Please refer to the table below for more accurate details.

All products sold by Eurosport Performance are warrantied against manufacturing defects according to the manufacturer's warranty policy*. Warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, damages caused from improper manipulation, normal wear and tear, improper installation, or damages resulting from racing. Warranties only apply to the original owner. If a product is found defective, the customer will receive, at the discretion of Eurosport Performance, a replacement part at no extra cost.
