The corrugated airbox and turbo inlet hoses found in the OEM air intake system were not designed for performance or modifications. They were designed to get the job done, and when adding a performance filter, intake, or tune the stock inlet hoses can start to show their weaknesses when suction from the turbocharger is increased.
The ECS Silicone Intake Hose Set for the VW MK6 Jetta 1.4T was designed in-house with a high-quality 4-ply reinforced construction to provide a strong but flexible structure and secure fit. Smooth bends and internal walls with counter bored outlets provide unimpeded airflow, while the smooth, gloss black exterior adds an appearance upgrade to any engine bay.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Our ECS Silicone Intake Hose Set was designed, engineered, tested and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio facility. We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer, and rigorous long term product testing.
INSTALLATION AND SUPPORT
Installation is straightforward and is easily reversible. Simply remove the OEM inlet hoses and pinch clamps and replace with our Silicone Intake Hoses with 7mm gear clamps.
Ensure the hoses are installed with the ECS Tuning logo facing "UP" to ensure the counterbore feature is oriented properly.
Not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle as per the California Air Resources Board.

All products sold by Eurosport Performance are warrantied against manufacturing defects according to the manufacturer's warranty policy*. Warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, damages caused from improper manipulation, normal wear and tear, improper installation, or damages resulting from racing. Warranties only apply to the original owner. If a product is found defective, the customer will receive, at the discretion of Eurosport Performance, a replacement part at no extra cost.
