Installing a front mount intercooler (FMIC) on your VW is a simple, effective method to reducing intake air temperature and increasing horsepower while providing an aggressive visual upgrade. However, the OEM sandwich-mounted intercooler remains in place acting as a mounting carrier for the A/C condenser, radiator and fan shroud, making it impossible to simply just remove. The factory intercooler also blocks airflow through the radiator, while leaving dead weight behind.
Our in-house engineering team carefully designed this Intercooler Delete Bracket Kit to effectively remove the OEM intercooler which provides the proper mounting features while freeing up airflow through the radiator and reducing total system weight by 6.0 pounds*. Made from 5052 aluminum with TIG welded mounting features and finished in a durable wrinkle black powdercoat, our Intercooler Delete Bracket Kit provides you with everything you need for a direct bolt-on installation.

Our ECS Intercooler Delete Bracket Kit was designed, engineered, tested and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio facility. We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer, and rigorous long term product testing.

All products sold by Eurosport Performance are warrantied against manufacturing defects according to the manufacturer's warranty policy*. Warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, damages caused from improper manipulation, normal wear and tear, improper installation, or damages resulting from racing. Warranties only apply to the original owner. If a product is found defective, the customer will receive, at the discretion of Eurosport Performance, a replacement part at no extra cost.
