ECS Tuning MQB Intercooler Delete Bracket Kit

Installing a front mount intercooler (FMIC) on your VW is a simple, effective method to reducing intake air temperature and increasing horsepower while providing an aggressive visual upgrade. However, the OEM sandwich-mounted intercooler remains in place acting as a mounting carrier for the A/C condenser, radiator and fan shroud, making it impossible to simply just remove. The factory intercooler also blocks airflow through the radiator, while leaving dead weight behind.  Our in-house engineering team carefully designed this Intercooler Delete Bracket Kit to effectively remove the OEM intercooler which provides the proper mounting features while freeing up airflow through the radiator and reducing total system weight by 6.0 pounds*.
