Bolt on the ability to make big power while retaining your current intake, downpipe, and intercooler with this IS38 turbo kit! This kit includes a brand new IS38 turbocharger from the Golf R and S3 along with all necessary hardware, gaskets, seals and spark plugs to properly install and give your GTI or A3 the legendary power the Golf R and S3 come stock with!
ECU tuning is required to utilize this upgrade and ECS Tuning recommends APRs' IS38 software upgrade which makes up to a asphalt pounding 386 horsepower and 403 ft/lbs of torque on 93 octane pump gas depending on accompanying mods! The required modifications to run this software are at minimum a upgraded aftermarket downpipe, as well as a upgrade to the colder Beru spark Plugs (Included in this kit). These will be gapped to 0.0024" ±0.002" or 0.6mm ±0.05mm and will require a 10-15,000 mile replacement interval to increase the longevity and safety of your engine.
It is highly recommended to also upgrade your intake, intercooler to achieve the most possible power and reliability. It will also be a possibility to upgrade your clutch depending on the health of your stock unit and your driving habits. DSG owners are also recommended to perform a DSG TCU performance software upgrade which we again recommend APRs' DQ250 TCU Upgrade (ES#: 2960798).

Warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, damages caused from improper manipulation, normal wear and tear, improper installation, or damages resulting from racing. Warranties only apply to the original owner. If a product is found defective, the customer will receive, at the discretion of Eurosport Performance, a replacement part at no extra cost.
