PART DESIGN

• In-house designed and engineered using FARO ARM laser scanning technology and SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling for precision fitment

• 3.0" T304 Stainless Steel CNC Mandrel Bent, Brushed Tubing with 1.25mm wall thickness

• The beautifully crafted final assembly is artfully Tig-welded and back purged for superior durability and the finest appearance

• Features a straight-through 3.0" flow path throughout the entire exhaust system, in the valve "open" position, which then merges into a dual 2.5" split tailpipe section for the least amount of restriction and turbulence

• A pair of perforated core, wool-packed mufflers absorb unwanted resonance and reduce volume while the valve is in the "closed" position

• Dual Muffler Design:

  • In-house engineered to achieve the most desirable exhaust notes with the largest delta between valve "closed" and valve "open" driving conditions

  • Dual 2.5" diameter tubing channels exhaust gases from the muffler merge section into both mufflers

  • Valve Closed Routing -Mirrored 3-chamber perforated reduction tubes with stainless steel wool packing material provides a sporty driving experience without causing excessive resonance, volume and performance loss. Muffler outlets staggered to tailpipe sections for further sound reduction.

  • Valve Open Routing - Straight-through 3.0" tubing through a 3.0" stainless exhaust valve provides the most unobstructed flow path for race-inspired driving experience to maximize volume

• Vacuum-actuated exhaust valve provides outstanding reliability in the harshest conditions. Unlike electronic servo motors that are prone to failure, our exhaust valves have been tested in thousands of applications and have proven to be reliable.

  • Valve operation is 100% compatible with factory valve control. We recommend our optional Manual Exhaust Valve Controller to take full control over your driving experience.

• ECS Valved Catback Weight: 32lbs without exhaust tips

• T304 Stainless Steel 12mm barbed exhaust hangers, featuring 360° hanger stoppers, are Tig-Welded in OE locations for precise location

• Strategically placed slip joints provide the most adjustability to obtain perfect fitment

• Designed to maximize ground clearance while still being compatible with aftermarket components, such as larger rear sway bars.

CATBACK EXHAUST SYSTEM

• Downpipe adapters and Accuseal style clamps (2); 1 for OEM (60mm) downpipe, 1 for 3.0" downpipe, ending at OEM location

• 3.0" Midpipe Assembly

• Dual Muffler Assembly w/ integral exhaust valve

• 12.0" of silicone vacuum hose and a straight union fitting (1) for attaching to the factory exhaust valve (flapper) vacuum hose

• 3.0" Stainless steel Accuseal style clamps (2)

• ECS 4.0" Swivel Exhaust Tips (2) - Choose chrome, black chrome or carbon fiber

PERFORMANCE FEATURES

• Dyno tested on a VW MK6 Golf R on our in-ground Mustang "AWD 500 SE" Dyno we showed maximum gains of +19 WHP and +16 FT/Lbs of torque while equipped with our ECS Kohlefaser Luft-Technik Intake, ECS FMIC, ECS Aluminum Intake Manifold, 3.0" 200 cell catted downpipe, APR HPFP, APR Stage 2+ K04 93 Octane Software with the exhaust valve pneumatically controlled in the "open" position. ​

• PEAK GAINS:

  • OEM Catback: 302 WHP @ 5,900 RPM / 307 WTQ @ 4,200 RPM

  • ECS Catback (Valve "Open"): 314 WHP @ 6,300 RPM / 311 WTQ @ 4,250 RPM

  • ECS Catback (Valve "Closed"): 301 WHP @ 6,300 RPM / 299 WTQ @ 4,250 RPM

We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer, and rigorous long term product testing.
