When modifying cars and pushing their limits beyond what VW/Audi engineers envisioned, new problems can and ultimately will be revealed. One of the unforeseen problems we found during testing on a turbocharged 2.5L-swapped Porsche 944 Stage Rally build was loss of tension during high RPM decel. We found that the accessory belt tensioner would compress under engine decel and high RPM situations, causing the belt to be thrown from the serpentine pulley arrangement.
Our simple, yet ingenious, ECS Belt Tensioner Limiter prevents the accessory belt tensioner from over-compressing, thus maintaining proper belt tensioner under high RPM conditions. Install is simple and straightforward making this a a must-have for any high-revving 2.5L.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Our ECS 2.5L Accessory Belt Tensioner Limiter was designed, engineered, tested and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio facility. We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer, and rigorous long term product testing.

All products sold by Eurosport Performance are warrantied against manufacturing defects according to the manufacturer's warranty policy*. Warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, damages caused from improper manipulation, normal wear and tear, improper installation, or damages resulting from racing. Warranties only apply to the original owner. If a product is found defective, the customer will receive, at the discretion of Eurosport Performance, a replacement part at no extra cost.
