PART DESIGN

• Designed and engineered in-house using state of the art 3D laser scanning and CAD technology for precision fitment 

• Mimics the lower section of the bumper & OE diffuser lines to accentuate OEM features

• Houses 4.0" exhaust tips; compatible with the OEM exhaust, although, we recommend larger exhaust tips for visual appeal 

• Mounts to OE clip locations and OE holes on the outer edges of the bumper with supplied, stainless hardware

• Made from lightweight, vacuum formed UV-stabilized gloss black ABS polymer

• Our ECS MK8 GTI Rear Diffuser was designed, engineered, tested and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio facility. We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modelling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer, and rigorous long term product testing.

SPOILER DETAILS: 

Upgrade the exterior styling on your 2022+ Volkswagen MK8 GTI with the ECS Tuning Gloss Black Hatch Spoiler Extension. Our Hatch Spoiler was engineered in-house and designed to follow the curves and lines of the body to offer a more aggressive look that matches the factory appeal of the GTI. Crafted from high quality vacuum formed gloss black ABS polymer that is enhanced with UV-stabilizer to achieve its world class appearance and durability while providing a sporty style that's sure to set your vehicle apart from the rest. Installs atop the factory hatch spoiler with no drilling, cutting or any permanent modifications. 

PART DESIGN

• Accentuates the OE body lines throughout the outer edge of the spoiler

• Designed to be an offset of the OE spoiler with a seamlessly integrated duck bill for the most OE plus appearance

• Smooth / seamless transition from the OE lines to ECS spoiler

• Utilizes 3M double sided tape for a strong bond to the body on the top and bottom side of the OE spoiler to avoid any paint chafing

• Made from lightweight, vacuum formed gloss black ABS polymer that is enhanced with UV-stabilizer

INSTALLATION AND SUPPORT

• Once you have the spoiler lined up, simply remove the liner on the pre-installed high strength dual sided tape sections and press the spoiler firmly onto the trunk lid. See our Installation Guide for general surface prep and installation. 

• 4 sterile antiseptic alcohol wipes (ES2918127) are suggested for proper installation.
