Our Skid Plate for BMW G8X M2/M3/M4 models is designed to provide robust protection for critical underbody components, including the oil cooler. Constructed from lightweight yet durable aluminum, this skid plate acts as a shield against road debris, speed bumps, and other hazards that can damage sensitive parts, such as the oil cooler and oil pan.
Oil Cooler Protection:
The oil cooler is mounted low on the S58 platform, making it vulnerable to impacts and debris. Our Skid Plate extends under the vehicle to cover this critical area, ensuring the oil cooler is safeguarded from flying rocks, potholes, and unexpected impacts. By protecting the oil cooler, this skid plate helps prevent leaks and maintains optimal engine cooling under demanding driving conditions.
OEM Aero Design Maintained
By maintaining the factory rubber strip in front of the oil cooler, this ensures that the original aerodynamic design, which creates a vacuum effect to draw heat from the oil cooler, remains effective. This design consideration helps maintain optimal engine cooling performance.

All products sold by Eurosport Performance are warrantied against manufacturing defects according to the manufacturer's warranty policy*. Warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, damages caused from improper manipulation, normal wear and tear, improper installation, or damages resulting from racing. Warranties only apply to the original owner. If a product is found defective, the customer will receive, at the discretion of Eurosport Performance, a replacement part at no extra cost.
