ECS Tuning Steering Rack Spacers - 5mm

When we began our ECS E90 drift build, we were eager to hit the track and start sliding. On our first test day, it quickly became clear that we needed two essential upgrades: a welded differential (DIY weld-in plates: ES#4841518) and more steering angle! Since we were still early in our journey, we weren’t ready to commit to a full-angle kit just yet. Instead, we focused on small, incremental upgrades to fine-tune the car’s handling.

Our engineer, a beginner drifter, carefully measured and tested different spacer sizes to maximize angle while maintaining proper thread engagement on the inner tie rod. After extensive testing, we found 5mm to be the ideal size, providing an ideal increase in angle while ensuring a strong, secure connection.
