The GTI has a long pedigreed history in the realm of hot-hatchbacks, especially when it comes to models powered with 4-cylinder turbo engines. The stock piping in Volkswagen's star player, however, doesn't quite live up to the hype. Full of bends, restrictive diameters, and constructed from degradation-prone materials, the stock charge pipes are a restriction for your MK8, especially when cranking up the boost. <br><br> These pipes feature a robust, mandrel-bent aluminum construction and 5-layer, heat-resistant silicone couplers to ensure a sturdy and long-lasting connection to and from the intercooler. The 30.9% increase in airflow is thanks to a reduced amount of restrictive bends and an increase of piping diameter to 2.75”, meaning your turbo can breathe easier than ever. <br><br> The Mishimoto MK8 Intercooler Pipe Kit is available in a polished or wrinkle black finish to suit the style of your MK8. We also stand behind the craftsmanship of our products which is why this piping kit also includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
