DESCRIPTION

This M7/6x29.5 threaded stud is used for securing the valve cover to the cylinder head on all M50, M50TU, M52, M52TU, M54, S50 (US), and S52 engines. Despite this crucial role in engine sealing and construction, BMW decided to discontinue this vital factory part in 2023.

Seeing an opportunity for replacement and innovation, the team at Turner Motorsport reverse-engineered the factory part and improved its overall quality to ensure a lasting solution. Manufactured from high-strength Grade 8.8 steel and finished with a protective zinc coating, this upgraded stud delivers exceptional durability, reliable torque retention, and exceptional corrosion resistance under the hood.
