DESCRIPTION

The RacingLine upper and lower Twin Dogbone Mount Insert is one of the most affordable and transformative upgrades you can do to your MQB/MQB Evo car. 

By slipping the RacingLine Twin Dogbone Insert into the voids of your factory lower engine mount you will stiffen the whole location of the drivetrain greatly to give a much tighter, sharper, more responsive feeling to your car. 

Crucially, fitting both the two-piece upper and lower inserts of the RacingLine Twin Dogbone Insert eliminates the bending forces that can cause damage and ultimately failure if just one insert is fitted (as many others offer). 

 

  • Transform the drive through eliminating wheel-hop off the line and through aggressive gearchanges - especially valuable on FWD cars.
  • Unlike polyurethane or steel insert options on the market, this billet aluminum part will not deform and wear over time, and guarantees long-lasting performance.
  • The Twin Dogbone Insert uses not one but two precision machined billet inserts to avoid the damaging bending moment that comes from fitment of a single insert.
  • Machined from billets of T6061 Aluminium, the Twin Dogbone Insert is more than strong enough to keep the drivetrain properly located on high power, hard driven cars.

The factory mount comes in two version across MQB models. To ensure fitment on your vehicle, please visually verify the mount you have, then select the correct insert below: 

  • OE part: 5Q0 198 037 A – You’ll require the Version 1 Insert ( A near-circular central hole within the mount.)

  • OE part: 5Q0 198 037 F – You’ll require the Version 2 Insert (A triangular central void inside the mount.)

All products sold by Eurosport Performance are warrantied against manufacturing defects according to the manufacturer's warranty policy*. Warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, damages caused from improper manipulation, normal wear and tear, improper installation, or damages resulting from racing. Warranties only apply to the original owner. If a product is found defective, the customer will receive, at the discretion of Eurosport Performance, a replacement part at no extra cost.
