Entirely made in Canada with only canadian-sourced materials, this skid plate is not only highly functional, it is 100% canadian.
When we started this project with GIT, we had an objective of bringing everyday functionality with high protection for our beloved Audi's and Volkswagens. Having had numerous protective plates prior to this project, we were never satisfied. Either cooling wasn't enough, creating high-heat environements around the engine and transmission components or oil changes were a nightmare, having to remove the plate every single time.
GIT created a functionnal and performing design eliminating the need to remove the plate for oil changes by adding a oil drain access port. The GIT skid plate also lowers transmission temps from 150% compared to the OE plate.
Ride in confidence with this skid plate, only available at Eurosport Performance.

The 2025 automotive aftermarket is poised for exciting shifts, especially for enthusiasts focused on boosting Audi and Volkswagen models. With a renewed emphasis on software-driven upgrades and advanced hardware solutions, performance brands are tailoring parts and kits to meet the latest demands shaped by factory technology and evolving consumer preferences.
Regulatory changes starting in 2025 are driving both product innovation and a strategic focus on compliance. New emissions and diagnostic requirements mean the aftermarket is rapidly adapting tuning modules, intakes, and exhausts to ensure vehicles stay within legal limits while delivering noticeable power gains. This shift also encourages transparent, dyno-tested results—helping shoppers make informed decisions on upgrades.
Supply chain improvements are helping reduce lead times for custom orders, while regional distributors are expanding inventory to better serve performance shops and DIYers. As a result, expect faster delivery cycles, enhanced customer support, and up-to-date technical resources throughout 2025.
Whether you're a seasoned tuner or just starting out with your Audi or VW build, staying on top of these 2025 trends ensures your project benefits from the latest advancements. As the performance aftermarket evolves, look for more reliable upgrades, better support, and ever more innovative solutions tailored to the driving experience Audi and VW enthusiasts crave.
