ECS Tuning Brake Fluid Reservoir Cover - Black Carbon Fiber

The ECS Carbon Fiber Brake Fluid Reservoir Cover adds unique, authentic carbon fiber styling to the underhood of your MQB platform vehicle without any permanent modifications. It quickly installs over top your brake fluid reservoir, beneath the OEM cap, for a simple engine bay addition which covers the unsightly, opaque master cylinder reservoir.

It's unique design elements tie in nicely with other ECS Premium Carbon Fiber products and fitment is second to none, due to our in-house engineering team's stringent design process and precise manufacturing quality.

PART DESIGN

• Designed and engineered by our in-house ECS R&D Team to cover the ugly opaque white plastic brake fluid reservoir

• Installs atop the brake fluid reservoir and is held in place via the OEM brake fluid fill cap and 2 strips of specifically selected 3M tape

• The included 3M tape is specifically selected for the harsh goings within the engine-bay environment and easily sticks on to the master cylinder reservoir with ease once cleaned and dried

• Designed to match other ECS Tuning Premium Carbon products such as our Engine Cover, Battery Cover and Fuse Box Cover, to name a few

• Hides the hard line that runs over the reservoir

• Manufactured from lightweight, hand laid carbon fiber material with pre-impregnated carbon fiber cloth, epoxy resin and then finished in a durable gloss clear coat for UV and heat protection for continuous operating temperatures of up to 300° F.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

• Our ECS Brake Fluid Reservoir Cover was designed, engineered, tested and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio facility. We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modelling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer, and rigorous long term product testing.

INSTALLATION AND SUPPORT

• Simply clean the mounting surface of the brake fluid reservoir with isopropyl alcohol and a soft cloth. Allow the area to air dry completely prior to installing our cover. Peel back the protective strips of the 3M tape. Remove the brake fluid fill cap and and place our cover over top of the brake fluid reservoir while sticking the front edge of our cover to the reservoir and reinstall the brake fluid fill cap.
