If you have experienced a cam follower failure and need to replace your follower and high pressure fuel pump as preventative maintenance this is the kit for you.
You usually can't tell unless you have had the work done yourself if your cam follower has been serviced, check up on it to avoid having to perform major costly service to your FSI. This set of parts will also work perfectly for those who have had fuel pump damage result from a worn cam follower.
This kit assembled by ECS includes all the needed parts for a fast swap from damaged components to new ones and addresses common parts that should be replaced or need adapted to the revised pump on early models with banjo fittings.
Kit Contents:
*Midway through the B7 chassis 2.0T model, Audi updated their fuel line setup from a banjo bolt style fitting/connection point to an on-pump barbed fitting. Moving to a barbed style fitting solved some leaking issues and overall eased the installation and cam follower service process. However, completely swapping your existing banjo fuel line setup to a barbed factory line is somewhat pricey. This kit includes the necessary adapter fitting to use your existing banjo style fuel line on the new style pump. In this case, the barbed fitting will be removed and the banjo adapter will be installed in its place.
Also included in this kit for the additional unused port on the fuel pump is a pressure bleeder valve and cap. *

Warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, damages caused from improper manipulation, normal wear and tear, improper installation, or damages resulting from racing. Warranties only apply to the original owner. If a product is found defective, the customer will receive, at the discretion of Eurosport Performance, a replacement part at no extra cost.
