Upgraded Silicone Air Intake Pipes (Turbo Inlets)

Turner Upgraded Silicone Turbo Air Intake Pipes provide improved turbo response, increased airflow, and less turbo lag. Designed with a smooth contour for unobstructed flow compared to the OE molded plastic. The elimination of the restrictive muffler in the OE intake tube also provides less restriction to the turbo, and more “intake noises”. This allows you to hear more of the turbo spool and the blow-off valve.  Turner Upgraded Silicone Turbo Air Intake Pipes are a direct replacement for the OE brittle plastic air intake pipes. BMW uses 2 plastic intake pipes that are known to quickly deteriorate and crack, or even worse explode under high stress. There is a lower plastic lower intake pipe, commonly referred to as the “Turbo Inlet”, part number 13717605638. This pipe runs directly from the turbo to the plastic upper intake pipe. The plastic upper intake pipe, part number 13717605045, runs from the turbo inlet to the airbox. Both of the upgraded silicone intake pipes are designed with a smooth contour for unobstructed flow compared to the OE molded plastic. By eliminating the restrictive muffler in the OE intake tube, this allows for more of the “intake noises”, such as turbo spool or the BOV. Sporting a two-piece modular design, this allows you to run either the lower intake tube (Turbo Inlet - From Turbo to Intake Pipe - ES#4057664), the upper intake pipe (Intake Tube - From Turbo Inlet to Factory Airbox - ES#4057673), or both (This Kit, ES#4057527) for maximum performance. The upper intake pipe utilizes a 6061-T6 black anodized coupler to connect to the OE lower intake tube.  The coupler is also employed when using the silicone lower air intake tube. The lower intake tube utilizes 6061-T6 black anodized adapters connecting the silicone intake tube to the PCV hose, vacuum line and the turbo inlet.  The 6061-T6 adapters provide a more secure and durable connection than the OE plastic tube. Both Tubes are Constructed of 5-Ply reinforced silicone for improved durability. Silicone offers reduced thermal conductivity for improved performance, as well as improved resistance to ozone and UV degradation for improved durability. Features:
