ECS Tuning "Ti.22" MK7.5 GTI 3.0" Titanium Catback Exhaust System

Titanium exhaust systems effectively reduce sprung vehicle weight while radically transforming the sound of your car. Thanks to it's higher tensile strength over 304 SS, material wall thickness can be reduced by up to 1mm wall tubing. Theoretically this massive weight savings immediately translates into faster acceleration and a more responsive driving experience.  The ECS Tuning "Ti.22" Titanium Catback Exhaust System is made from exotic, ultra-lightweight Gr2 titanium alloy material from the chemical element titanium (symbolized "Ti" with an atomic number of 22, as described on the periodic table of elements) reduces 26 pounds (62% reduction) from the factory catback exhaust system. Grade 2 titanium was selected due to its balance of lightweight properties, strength and corrosion resistance.    PART DESIGN In-house designed and engineered using FARO ARM laser scanning technology for precise fitment  Ultra-lightweight, Gr2 Titanium Alloy Material in a natural finish - 1mm wall thickness, back purged and TIG-welded throughout 3.0" OD tubing with 2.5" OD tailpipes featuring pie-cut bend sections  Pie-cut merge section with Laser-Cut ECS logo plate  Radical weight savings over the OEM exhaust system: OEM Catback (without tips): 42 lbs  ECS Titanium Catback (without tips): 16 lbs (26 lb weight savings!) Titanium 12mm barbed exhaust hangers Tig-Welded in OE locations for precise fitment. An additional exhaust hanger and rubber bushing are added at the rear subframe location for additional support. Strategically placed slip joints provide the most adjustability to obtain perfect fitment NON-VALVED MUFFLER: Straight Through "Turbo Style" Muffler In-House designed to provide a sporty driving experience like no other Perforated core with packing for sound absorption  Designed to maximize ground clearance while still being compatible with aftermarket components such as our ECS Tuning Rear Subframe Brace.   KIT CONTENTS Midpipes (2), 1 for OEM downpipe, or 1 for 3.0" downpipe, ending at OEM location Replacement sleeve clamp for OEM downpipe  Muffler Assembly  Additional rubber exhaust hanger (1) for subframe location J-Pipe Assembly and Dual Tailpipes with stainless steel Accuseal clamps ECS 4.0" Swivel Exhaust Tips (2) - Choose chrome, black chrome, carbon fiber or titanium!   PERFORMANCE FEATURES Dyno tested on our in-ground Mustang "AWD 500 SE" Dyno with our ECS Tuning Shop MK7 GTI we showed maximum gains of +9 WHP and +15 FT/Lbs of torque while equipped with our ECS Kohlefaser Luft-Technik Intake, APR Stage 1 93 Octane Software and the OEM downpipe. ​ PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT Our ECS Tuning Titanium Catback Exhaust System was designed, engineered, tested and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio facility.
