Turner Motorsport E46 325/330 Performance Valved Cat-Back Exhaust

When shopping for an exhaust, you'll want to find one that suits your driving style and sound preference. While one part of you wants a loud and aggressive sounding exhaust, another part knows you don't want to wake up the neighborhood or annoy your significant other. Thankfully, Turner Motorsport has developed the answer to this dilemma. This lightweight performance exhaust system features a valved muffler section, allowing you to choose between tame and tasteful or loud and rowdy. 

Turner's new Catback Exhaust features a valved rear section designed specifically for the E46—a first for the chassis. This design enables tone and volume control with just one click of a button. During valve-closed operation, the exhaust will emit a nice low tone. With the valve open, you'll receive unrestricted access to sound and power—perfect for when you're at the track or just in the mood to let it rip.

The exhaust features dual 2.0" stainless steel mid-pipes that connect directly to your factory downpipes. Within the mid-pipes is an integrated x-pipe, designed to create a smooth flowing center section with lower amounts of back pressure. This leads to increased performance, balanced flow, and a smoother exhaust tone. The 2.0" mid-pipes crossover and flow into a 3" axle-back section and full 3" valved muffler. The valved muffler features integrated 3" exhaust tips for an aggressive look that fills out your rear diffuser to get the perfect appearance. 

Valved exhausts of this caliber are commonplace on newer performance cars, which are high above the price range of a nice E46. Surprisingly, most E46s did feature a vacuum-actuated valved muffler, which opened and closed the exhaust under certain rpm ranges. Unfortunately, nearing twenty years post-production, the factory valve is usually damaged and inoperable. By taking notes from BMW's OEM valved muffler, the engineers at Turner were able to revitalize this design and improve upon it significantly. The final product is a light-weight performance exhaust that features superior valving and great aesthetics!
