THE TOURING EDITION

The ultimate mix of performance and sophistication. The Touring Edition is a bespoke exhaust designed specifically for the 3.0L Turbo-equipped W205 C-Class, featuring AWE’s proprietary drone-cancellation solution, 180 Technology® that enables the perfect tone, minus the drone. The Touring Edition is a direct bolt-on, straight-through design, delivering a civil, smooth soundtrack throughout the range while providing an enhanced in-cabin driving experience. Both the Touring Edition and the Track Edition allow you to retain those ‘Benz tips we all love.

THE TRACK EDITION

The Track Edition Exhaust takes the engineered design of the Touring Edition Exhaust and replaces the rear AWE 180 Technology® resonators with Track Edition straight pipe sections, delivering an even bigger dose of scream out of the 3.0L. It’s known to get raucous in the mid-range and could be a little much for many, and for that reason, this system can’t be returned due to sound: so be ready, my friends! But fear not – if after running the Track Edition you're feeling it’s a bit too much, AWE makes it easy to swap over to a Touring Edition with the Conversion Kit (more on that below). Both the Touring Edition and the Track Edition allow you to retain those ‘Benz tips we all love.

NEVER STUCK WITH AWE CONVERSION KITS

It’s too loud! It’s too quiet! Don't worry. If you're looking to change your tone, AWE offers Conversion Kits so you don’t have to purchase a whole new exhaust to get a new sound. Turn your Touring Edition into a Track Edition, or vice versa, with ease. Simply unclamp the rear Touring or Track Edition sections and replace them with the new configuration, and put your tips back on. Easy.

AWE VALVE SIMULATORS

C43 models equipped with the optional valved AMG Performance Exhaust System require the AWE Electronic Valve Simulators for proper function. Valve simulators are not needed for cars without the AMG Performance Exhaust.

A little more on that: when valves are eliminated, the ECU stores what is known as a ‘soft code’ in the system, which may not appear on the dash. While this code is not harmful, who wants it? Enter the AWE Electronic Valve Simulators. These simple devices plug right into the factory harness in place of the exhaust valves and prevent any code from ever being stored in the ECU due to the removal of the exhaust valves. Plug them in. Start it up. Drive away. That simple. Comes as a set of two.
