Liqui Moly A/C System Cleaner (1L)

Special cleaner for removing soiling and unpleasant odors quickly and effectively from A/C systems. Leaves a clean evaporator surface and a pleasantly fresh fragrance after cleaning. All service recommendations released by vehicle manufacturers regarding the cleaning of air conditioning systems are to be followed.

For the hygienic removal of soiling from evaporator surfaces and in ventilation ducts of cars, commercial vehicles, buses and domestic A/C systems.

Application

Portion pack: 1 l will treat one vehicle or one A/C system. If the manufacturer of the air conditioning system offers a cleaning service recommendation, this recommendation must be observed. If no model-specific instructions are available from the passenger car manufacturer, follow the LIQUI MOLY recommendation for application. Spray the cleaning fluid directly on the surface of the evaporator (if possible) for commercial vehicle, bus and home A/C systems. LIQUI MOLY recommended use:

• During the cleaning process, make sure the windows are open. Do not inhale the vapors while cleaning.

• Check to make sure that the condensation water drainage openings are not blocked.

• With the following adjustments to the heater and blower, dry the evaporator surface for 10 minutes with the engine running: Switch off the air conditioning unit and set to air circulation. Set the air distribution switch to footwell. Turn the temperature regulator and blower selector switch to maximum. Cleaning the A/C system:

• Insert the probe of the cleaning gun in the direction of the evaporator (center of the vehicle) (vehicle-specific instructions under “Cleaning the air conditioning system” on liqui-moly.com).

• Operate the cleaning gun and move the spray probe carefully back and forth to flush out and clean the evaporator thoroughly.

• Wait approx. 15 – 20 minutes to allow the cleaning fluid to take effect.

• Switch on the air conditioning, set the temperature to minimum and the blower speed to maximum and allow to run in this setting for 10 minutes.

• Replace the dust and pollen filter. Note: Any cleaner which is spilled must be wiped up using a damp cloth and water.
