Unfortunately, issues with shifting and gear lever position have become increasingly common for owners of this transmission. High-mileage units are particularly prone to developing shifter-related troubles, which may manifest as issues with gear selection, a sticking shift lever, or an overall decline in shift quality. These issues are often caused by wear of the detent springs, pins, and bushings within the transmission, all of which play a crucial role in ensuring precise gear engagement and shifter centering.
Detent replacement requires a specialized set of tools (also called "drifts") that are difficult to source. Without the proper tools, the transmission detent installation process can prove frustrating and imprecise, often risking damage to the internal detent bores. Thankfully, the team at Turner Motorsport has developed a complete set of five unique drifts, each of which is precision-machined for exact fitment inside the transmission detent bores. Together, this kit allows you to replace your worn detents with ease, restoring driveability and ensuring trouble-free shifter operation.

Warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, damages caused from improper manipulation, normal wear and tear, improper installation, or damages resulting from racing. Warranties only apply to the original owner. If a product is found defective, the customer will receive, at the discretion of Eurosport Performance, a replacement part at no extra cost.
