Unitronic Stage 1+ E85 Performance Software is precisely calibrated for use with E60-E85 fuel, engineered for a vehicle that has full required hardware bolt-ons. It is the performance upgrade that will result in the most gains!
NOTE: E85 calibrations are not full flex fuel calibrations, therefore, when using an E85 ECU calibration, the engine is only designed to operate on E85 blends from E60-E85.
Using an E85 calibration with pump gasoline or race gas may result in engine damage.
Unitronic strongly recommends the use of an Ethanol Content Analyzer, to ensure Ethanol content levels are within the permissible range. When switching between gasoline to ethanol, please use Unitronic’s fuel conversion guide here.
Unitronic Stage 1 TCU Performance Software (FREE) is required to run Stage 1, 1+ and 1+E85 ECU tune.

Required Hardware
Unitronic Engineers identified gearbox originating torque limitations on the TCU side of the AL552 transmission. In order to overcome these limitations, while ensuring proper torque management and operation, a TCU Performance Software was required to run Unitronic Stage 1, 1+ and Stage 1+ E85 ECU Performance Software for the B9 RS 4 & RS 5.
Stage 1 TCU Performance Software calibrations necessarily increase the torque limiter for seamless torque management and harmonious operation with the corresponding Unitronic ECU calibrations and further enhance the user experience.
For MY2022+ vehicles, TCU tuning is not required as Unitronic has developed special ECU Performance Software which incorporates a proprietary "gBX" solution. These "gBX" ECU calibrations were developed specifically for MY2022+ vehicles and allow Unitronic to deliver a full torque experience without transmission tuning.

All products sold by Eurosport Performance are warrantied against manufacturing defects according to the manufacturer's warranty policy*. Warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, damages caused from improper manipulation, normal wear and tear, improper installation, or damages resulting from racing. Warranties only apply to the original owner. If a product is found defective, the customer will receive, at the discretion of Eurosport Performance, a replacement part at no extra cost.
