Overview

⚠ Spherical Suspension Parts ⚠ 

Vehicles equipped with spherical bearings, heims, uniballs, solid bushings, or other performance suspension components may experience increased noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) compared to factory OEM components. Occasional squeaking, creaking, clicking, or other operational noises are considered normal characteristics of these performance-oriented parts and do not necessarily indicate a defect or failure.

Noise levels can vary based on installation, driving conditions, weather, maintenance, and normal wear. Regular inspection and maintenance are recommended to ensure proper performance and longevity. By purchasing and/or installing these components, the customer acknowledges and accepts these characteristics as part of a high-performance suspension system.

Due to the Nature of Spherical Suspension Parts, there is a One Year Limited Warranty from Purchase Date. 

The TGK Motorsport Billet Rear Spherical Strut Perch replaces the factory rubber strut mount with a precision spherical bearing assembly, removing unwanted deflection while allowing the strut to articulate smoothly through its full range of motion. This rigid, billet housing paired with a PTFE-lined spherical bearing eliminates the compliance that directly affects rear suspension behavior during cornering, braking, and rapid load transitions.

The factory rear strut mount uses a rubber isolator that allows the strut to move under load, compressing and deforming when load is applied and causing the strut to shift relative to the chassis. This movement changes suspension geometry moment-to-moment, making the rear of the car less predictable and harder to control at the limit, especially on vehicles with stiffer springs, coilovers, wider tires, or increased grip.

Frequently Asked Questions Will this increase noise and vibration compared to the factory rubber mount? The spherical bearing eliminates rubber isolation, so some increase in transmitted vibration is expected. However, the PTFE-lined bearing is designed to operate smoothly without harsh binding or excessive harshness. Is this suitable for daily driving or only track use? This perch is designed for performance-oriented street vehicles as well as track-driven cars. The self-lubricating bearing requires no maintenance and provides consistent performance in both applications. What makes this better than just replacing worn rubber mounts? Even new rubber mounts compress and deform under load, changing suspension geometry. The spherical bearing maintains fixed positioning while still allowing necessary angular movement of the strut. Will this work with my existing struts or coilovers? This perch is designed for rear strut and coilover applications. The spherical bearing accommodates the angular movement required for proper strut operation across different suspension setups. How does this affect suspension geometry and alignment? The perch eliminates deflection-induced geometry changes, keeping camber and toe more consistent under load. Warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, damages caused from improper manipulation, normal wear and tear, improper installation, or damages resulting from racing. Warranties only apply to the original owner. If a product is found defective, the customer will receive, at the discretion of Eurosport Performance, a replacement part at no extra cost.
