This tune also deals with many factory tune annoyances on the 2.5L engine such as throttle hesitation, rev hang, and response that greatly adds to drivability feel. Designed for use with regular pump 91/93 octane.
The IE Stage 2 VW 2.5L performance flash is designed for customers looking to maximize the performance of the factory engine with an IE Performance Intake Manifold (Sold Separately). IE Stage 2 software fine-tunes the ECU calibration to match the manifold flow characteristics. Stage 2 results deliver massive power gains across the powerband, fully realizing the 2.5L engine's potential without adding boost or high compression pistons. *IE Stage 2 Manifold Tune is only for vehicles with electric power steering.
